The Construction Federation of India (CFI) was founded in December 2000 under the able leadership of industry stalwarts and serves as a platform for the construction universe. As a founding member of CFI, I am proud of CFI's prominent position of recognition within the construction fraternity, affiliated industry partners and government agencies.

CFI is one of the unique bodies which represents the construction sector in India. As the size of the industry expands multifold due to high activity in the Infrastructure and Industrial space, bodies like CFI are crucial to success for the companies in this space.

The Construction Federation of India is doing a great job representing the Indian construction contracting fraternity at various forums and drawing the attention of policy makers to the challenges being faced by the engineering and construction industry. We believe CFI is performing several functions that can lead to better outcomes on public infrastructure policy, contracting strategies, taxation system, standards and practice for the Indian construction sector.

CFI has been instrumental in advocating policy reforms to streamline approval processes, reduce bureaucratic hurdles, and enhance contract enforcement in the construction sector. It actively contributes to national infrastructure development discussions, offering insights on initiatives like the National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP) and Smart Cities Mission.

CFI actively supports the entire Infrastructure ecosystem in the country with proactive policy advocacy and initiatives for regulatory transformations to strengthen the delivery of Global standard Infrastructure for Nation Building.
